Laura is a former New York City event designer turned seasoned financial consultant with a passion for interior design. Driven by her passion for aesthetics and creativity, Laura founded LB Designs to bring her unique blend of financial acumen and design expertise to life. 

The purchase of her first home, built in 1899, was her first big DIY renovation that showed her hidden skills. A cookie cutter new build wasn’t what she was looking for as she only wanted to invest in a home with good bones, character, and history (this house sure has it!). There is always a project in the works from installing an accent wall, building a custom closet, changing out light fixtures, and decorations that reflect who she is. You will find nods of being an accomplished equestrian and touches of the 6 states and 5 cities she has lived in before landing in Nashville. 

Laura is no stranger in providing guidance on how to achieve an end goal. Her diversified background enables her to transform spaces into beautiful and functional environments that reflect her clients’ personalities and lifestyles.

When she is not working her full time career in finance and designing spaces for clients,  you will find her hiking with her Rottweiler Layla (who is always by her side), hosting friend gatherings, refurbishing furniture, visiting family & friends, and traveling.
